SKOR
SKOR is the Dutch Foundation for Art in Public Space. As their name reveils, their focus is to develop and realize art in public space. These projects react to socio-economic changes in society and new developoments in contemporary art, urban design and the public. SKOR mediates between artists, commissioners and the public. This interaction with the public is an essential feature of their view on art in public space.Lava’s strategic starting point was to remind SKOR that they are the authorityon art and public space and that they can claim this position clearly throughtheir identity. Using the letters of SKOR a literal space was created on the page. Just as public space is in constant change, so do the letters of SKOR. The logo becomes a dramatic system instead of a fixed stamp.
