Buma Cultuur
Since some years Lava has worked for Buma Cultuur. This foundation has been initiated for the support of Dutch pop music in and outside The Netherlands though financial support and promotion. In 2009 we started on a restyling of the identity for Buma Cultuur, based on the existing logo and color set. Firstly we needed to use the logo more logically, combining it with the foundations tagline as much as possible, thus explaining what it was Buma Cultuur is doing with its funds.The next step is creating a stronger recognizability in it's environment. The two color printing gives it a recognizable and strong identity that holds up in an environment of colorfull music flyers and promotion. Because many musicians have footage from live shows as well as studio shots, we needed a graphic language to express the dynamic of music and the representation of it in journalism. The graphic adaptation of the images keeps the wide variety of material together and creates a sense of journalism and live performances.Since some years Lava has worked for Buma Cultuur.
