A public-private research community solving grand challenges in information and communication science shaping tomorrow's society. Many of the top researchers in the Netherlands are part of the COMMIT community, and the identity and website are key in communicating its relevance for society. Lava has developed a democratic and efficient identity system in which each member of the community is able to implement and adopt its elements. The identity was designed to be implemented as easy and quick as possible since it is funded with public resources.
