Secondly the creative strategy focused on the European heritage where the company comes from, and the diversity it offers. More

  • A museum concept for The Netherlands Red Cross

Lava is working an a scenario for a new museum by The Netherlands Red Cross: the Humanity House, in cooperation with Red Concepts and Henk Schut. The museum will not be an ordinary museum, but a combination of a museum environment and a center for discussion, lectures and a cinema. A place where people will experience why we should never stop giving attention for humanitarian issues during times of conflict and disaster. The scenario that Lava is developing includes a tool for partner acquisition, the overall identity, and the interior and exhibition concept. This integrated approach means the visitors will experience the values for the Humanity House in all aspects of the building. Read more about the scenario.

  • Future of the VU University Amsterdam

The VU University Amsterdam asked Lava to develop a brand for their future campus on Zuidas urban development area of Amsterdam. The brand should inspire and engage people to develop a future vision on the campus, as well as on education in general. How do you develop a brand that does not yet exist? Lava came up with the name 'VUTURE' and developed the campaign 'The VUTURE starts now', that immediately triggers the public to help develop the future vision. From this starting point a dynamic identity was designed, allowing the brand to grow together with the campus. Events, area branding, interactive applications and interactive architecture were all connected to the VUTURE vision. By september 2009, VUTURE was launched at the start of the new academic year. More
